I definitely have problems with male authorities.
Currently I'm trying to start my german "Mündliche Prüfung" (oral examination), where I must choose a theme from a list the teacher gave us and make a presentation. Damn, I didn't think I would have so much trouble with this.
For starters, none of the possible themes are attractive for me, or maybe I'm just not in the mood for talking about statistics, and making a whole research about something I don't really care about. Why can't it just be some sort of conversation exercise? Or a free subject presentation? And WHY must we search for statistics? What is the problem in just expressing our opinions and general information? I mean, we are not intending on being experts in none of those subjects, or at least not me.
But maybe this whole rant is not my preferences talking, but my problem in obeying male authorities (my german teacher is a man). I just can't help wanting to say 'no' the whole time to him.
I'd rather talk about a book, make up something... but what do I care about statistics of people migrating, or people watching football, of pensioned old people in Germany, etc.
Anyway, the presentation must be made because it's about 15% from my final grade...
